Race splits

Create an even-pace split card for a target finish time, including the final partial kilometre or mile.

YOUR LITTLE WORKBENCH

Race splits

Start with the example, then make it your own. Results update as you type.

How this is calculated

Cumulative time at distance x = target time × x ÷ full distance. Partial final splits use the same pace.

Times are calculated at full precision, then rounded for display; adjacent rounded split values may differ by one second. This is an even-pace plan and does not model elevation, stops or negative splits. Maximum 1,000 segments.

THE METHOD / 01

Know what goesinto your result.

Cumulative time at distance x = target time × x ÷ full distance. Partial final splits use the same pace.

01

A worked example

A 21.0975 km half-marathon in 1:45:00 averages about 4:59/km. A 1 km card has 22 rows; the last is 0.0975 km.

02

Keep the assumptions clear

Times are calculated at full precision, then rounded for display; adjacent rounded split values may differ by one second. This is an even-pace plan and does not model elevation, stops or negative splits. Maximum 1,000 segments.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Good to know.

Are my inputs uploaded?

No. Calculations run locally in your browser. The host still receives normal requests for website pages and assets.

Can I keep my result?

Export a CSV, or use Print / PDF and choose Save as PDF in your browser. Inputs are not saved between visits.

Do I need an account?

No sign-up, paid API or subscription is required. Both language versions use the same calculation logic.
